We are seeking an exceptional Head of Risk, Governance & Compliance to play a pivotal role in strengthening and leading our governance framework, driving a positive risk culture, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance across our organisation.

This is a high-impact leadership role, working closely with the Chief Executive, Board of Trustees, and Executive Team, where you’ll be instrumental in ensuring robust governance, effective risk management, and continuous improvement across all services.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and embedding an effective governance framework across the organisation.
* Driving a strategic approach to risk management, ensuring risks are identified, monitored, and managed effectively.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters.
* Overseeing risk reporting, internal audit processes, and assurance frameworks.
* Ensuring compliance with key regulatory bodies (e.g. CQC, Ofsted, Charity Commission).
* Supporting data protection and information governance best practice.
* Leading on policy development, review, and accessibility.
* Promoting a strong culture of learning, quality improvement, and safety.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience in risk and governance within a regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of compliance, assurance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
* Experience working with Boards, Trustees, and Senior Leadership Teams.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
* Passion for driving continuous improvement and organisational excellence.
Experience within health, social care, education, or the not-for-profit sector would be highly advantageous.
