We are seeking a committed Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with challenging behaviour within a school setting. The role involves working closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams to implement effective behaviour strategies and promote a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs.
* Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
* Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to develop and review individual behaviour plans.
* Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation.
* Act as a positive role model, promoting resilience and emotional wellbeing.
* Liaise with parents, carers and external agencies when required.
Requirements:
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH or SEN pupils.
* Strong behaviour management skills with a proactive approach.
* Ability to build positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff.
* Previous experience in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
* Training in Team Teach, MAPA or other de-escalation techniques (desirable).
