Overview
Established over 30 years, Tania Brown Limited are a Clinical Case Management and Expert Witness company offering the highest standards of care and support to clients with serious injuries. We are looking to recruit a maternity cover HR and Care Coordinator to join our busy team within our offices in Wigan. This position is temporary to cover maternity leave, with potential for the role to become permanent for the right applicant.
About the role
This role works alongside the case managers, providing support with recruitment, selection, onboarding and training processes for care and support teams to meet the individual clients’ needs. It includes providing HR support and liaising with external HR advisors for guidance, conducting ongoing training and development reviews, and completing disciplinaries and grievances as required. The role also provides advice and guidance to case managers and admin staff on HR matters, and handles ad-hoc tasks as requested. Previous experience in healthcare and an understanding of CQC, care plans and rotas is desirable.
What youll be working
* 4 days per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with some flexibility for the right applicant.
* Office based, in Wigan.
* Salary of £22,400.00, based on 30 hours per week.

What youll be doing
Some of the main roles & responsibilities:
* Act as a contact between the case manager, support workers, IDT/MDT, GPs, educational establishments, deputies, and solicitors, ensuring open, effective and accurate written and verbal communication.
* Recruit support workers, draw up recruitment documentation, process applications, arrange interviews, shortlist candidates, interview candidates and complete employment processes for successful hires.
* Be responsible for the day-to-day running of packages, including drafting and maintaining contracts of employment, managing staff rotas, and monitoring annual leave.
* Assist the case manager with ad-hoc duties related to specialised research and costings for clients (health professionals, holidays, etc.).
* Review, reconcile and examine support worker documentation and invoices/timesheets; alert case managers to pertinent issues.
* Remain up to date with training and participate in identifying personal training needs; attend courses as part of your PDP identified in the appraisal process as detailed in the employee handbook.
* Comply with all matters relating to GDPR within service delivery and supervision of employees.
* Operate within a legal framework encompassing statutory, organisational policy and guidelines.

* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer programmes.

* Experience of managing and prioritising a busy workload.
* Experience of managing client calls and remaining professional and courteous.
