Overview
Sessions Meat Supplies Ltd, a leading catering butchers and sausage manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Butcher to join our dynamic team. As a Butcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our butchery processes while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Hours
* Monday to Thursday - 4.30am to 12.30pm/Friday - 4.00am to 12.00pm
Duties
* Operate butchery machinery and equipment in accordance with company guidelines and safety protocols.
* Monitor the butchery process to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
* Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities accurately.
* Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to uphold hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets efficiently.
Experience
* Prior experience in a butchery or a similar environment is essential.
* Knowledge of food safety practices, including HACCP principles, is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in basic mathematics for measuring ingredients and calculating proportions.
-Experience with portion control/bespoke butchery.
