The Lead Strategic Accountant is responsible for the financial planning function, including the business plan, treasury, and development. The post holder will lead the development of the 30-year business plan, ensure appropriate treasury policies are in place and adhered to, and review and update cash flows associated with development and the wider business.

Description
* Lead the preparation of the 30-year financial model in Brixx, including stress testing and mitigation planning.
* Liaise with treasury advisors and solicitors regarding treasury strategy and refinancing requirements, ensuring treasury management procedures are embedded.
* Manage loan obligations and covenant performance, including reporting to the executive, audit committee, and board.
* Update the security register, submit returns to the security trustee, and conduct security revaluations for funders.
* Support future refinancing activities and lead security charging exercises where appropriate.
* Act as the business partner for the development function, reviewing cash flows, appraisals, and developing reports for the executive, investment committee, and board.
* Forecast cash flows and prepare quarterly financial monitoring reports for the regulator.
* Lead cash management, loan drawdowns/repayments, and interest payment commitments.
* Monitor and report on capital grants related to development and administer the recycled capital grant fund (RCGF).
Profile
As a qualified accountant, you should have the ability to challenge the status quo and influence at all levels. Leadership and team management skills are essential.
