Dental Receptionist/Full-Time/Croxteth, Liverpool
Join a welcoming and professional dental team in Croxteth, where patient care, teamwork and development are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to become the friendly, organised first point of contact for our busy practice.
We are recruiting for a full-time position, with final hours and working days confirmed at interview.
For the right candidates, we are also open to offering two part-time roles instead of one full-time position.
The Role
As our Dental Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring every patient has a smooth and positive experience. You will be responsible for coordinating appointments, supporting patient communication, and assisting clinicians to help the practice run efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Welcoming and assisting patients with professionalism and care
2. Managing appointment bookings, recalls, waiting lists and cancellations
3. Using dental software to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
4. Supporting treatment plans, consent processes and financial discussions
5. Providing administrative support to clinicians and the Practice Manager
6. Maintaining a calm, organised and friendly reception environment
7. Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

9. Up to £13+ per hour for candidates with GDC registration (Dental Nurses transitioning to reception welcome)

What We’re Looking For
19. A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a dental or healthcare reception role (essential)
20. Excellent communication and patient care skills
21. Professional, reliable and well-organised
22. Confident using dental or medical digital systems
23. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
24. A team player with a positive and supportive approach
25. (Optional) GDC registration, desirable but not essential
