Job Description
We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Oxford. Location: Oxford Station, Oxford – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 45 hours per week, with some flexibility available if desired.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
* Preparing monthly payment applications to clients and managing the certification process
* Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
* Collaboratively working with project teams to ensure commercial aspects are understood and recorded
* Managing change control, early warnings, and compensation events in a timely manner
* Monitoring project performance using cost reconciliation and earned value metrics
Qualifications
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in a similar industry
* Ability to work independently, managing subcontractor accounts and preparing valuations
* Strong understanding of contract conditions, particularly around obligations, variations, and payment terms
