A business with over 130 years of engineering excellence are looking for a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join their growing team of 10 Engineers, they specialise in the design and development of electrical control systems for power hydraulic equipment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering robust, efficient, and safe control solutions for a range of hydraulic-powered machinery used across industrial applications. Job Responsibilities * Design and develop electrical control systems for power hydraulics, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. * Specify and integrate components such as sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs, HMIs, and hydraulic power units. * Program and commission control systems (typically using PLCs and HMIs) to manage hydraulic functions. * Produce detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, functional specifications, and test plans. * Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
