New Role Commercial Finance Analyst – Nordic Region 12 month FTC Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Hybrid 3 days Office Based Salary: Competitive The Commercial Finance Analyst will consolidate, interpret, and challenge commercial and financial data to support decision-making and forecast accuracy across the Nordic region. Partnering directly with our regional VP Customer Success and VP Key Account Management, the role provides financial insight, analysis, and recommendations that influence business performance and planning. This position is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of data from multiple sources, improving the quality of forecasting, and driving adoption of insight across the region. Principal Job Responsibilities: •Consolidate, validate, and reconcile financial and commercial data from Salesforce, BI platforms, and local accounting systems across Nordic entities. •Partner with the VP Customer Success and VP KAM to challenge and refine forecast assumptions, ensuring accuracy and transparency in revenue, cost, and retention metrics. •Prepare and present country-level forecasts, variance analyses, and commentary for monthly and quarterly business reviews. •Develop and maintain advanced Excel models and BI dashboards to provide actionable insight into financial and operational performance. •Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data into meaningful recommendations for regional and group stakeholders. •Support the Nordic Head of Business Controller in streamlining reporting cycles and improving time-to-close processes. •Maintain high data quality standards and act as the first point of contact for data integrity issues related to the Nordic region Key Performance Indicators: •Stakeholder Engagement - Quality and clarity of financial insight delivered to commercial leadership. •Reporting Efficiency – Time taken to complete forecast and reporting cycles. •Efficiency improvements delivered in reporting processes and controls. •Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors. Qualifications & Experience: (E – Essential; D – Desirable) Minimum 5 years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analysis within a multinational organisation. E Proven ability to consolidate and interpret financial and commercial data across multiple countries or business units. E Advanced Excel modelling and data-manipulation skills. E Experience working with BI platforms (Power BI or similar). E Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; capable of translating data into clear, actionable insights E Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively. E Fluent in English, both written and verbal. E High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently. E Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent professional qualification. D Demonstrated experience creating or enhancing automated dashboards and self-serve analytics environments.
