Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to support the delivery of a major hospital project in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile healthcare scheme at a critical design stage.
You will play a key role in the Stage 4 & 5 (Detailed Design & Construction) phases, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality electrical design solutions.
Responsibilities
* Electrical design for healthcare environments, including power, lighting, fire alarms, data/communications, and associated systems
* Producing and reviewing detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations
* Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Supporting technical delivery through to construction stage
* Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer
* Strong background in Stage 4 & 5 design delivery
* Previous experience on healthcare/hospital projects
* Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit, AutoCAD)
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
