A thriving primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic LKS2 Teacher to join the lower-KS2 phase from January 2026. This LKS2 Teacher post in Brent includes a full induction and handover prior to January 2026, ensuring the LKS2 Teacher is ready to take up duties in January 2026 and contribute from day one. • LKS2 Teacher required to teach Years 3 and 4 across the lower Key Stage 2 phase • LKS2 Teacher required to work within a supportive primary school in Brent • LKS2 Teacher to join a collaborative phase delivering progressive, knowledge-rich sequences The LKS2 Teacher will plan and teach sequenced units across Years 3 and 4, lead guided-reading and maths fluency sessions, and run interventions that close gaps. The LKS2 Teacher will collaborate with subject leads and teaching assistants to develop accessible resources and share effective practice across the Brent phase. Responsibilities Plan and deliver coherent LKS2 Teacher lessons for Years 3 and 4 that secure cumulative knowledge. Lead small-group interventions and track impact to inform planning across Brent. Work with TAs to scaffold learning and adapt resources for a wide range of learners. Participate in moderation, assessment and phase meetings to ensure consistency. Communicate progress and next steps to parents and senior leaders. Person specification Qualified teacher with proven lower-KS2 experience and strong Year 3/4 outcomes. Skilled in planning sequenced curricula, assessing learning and delivering targeted interventions. Organised, collaborative and available to start January 2026 in Brent.
