Overview
Support Worker – Home Group
Worcestershire, covering Kidderminster and Worcester. Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), rota working. Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). We cannot sponsor for this role. This falls under review.
What you will do
* Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop independence and help them achieve goals in their support plans.
* Support customers with mental health needs.
* Assist with daily living activities such as meals, shopping, budgeting, tenancy maintenance, and moving to independent accommodation if possible.
* Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
* Provide time for conversations, social check-ins, and collaborative work with colleagues.

* Passion to support customers to live their best life with attention to detail.
* Experience caring for others (in care roles or caring for family members/children).
* Ability to work on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure, and remain resilient.
* Flexible, person-centered approach; ability to listen and tailor support to individual needs.
* Business-use vehicle required with insured status; mileage paid by Home Group.

* We meet the needs of our customers, which may require occasional changes to start/finish times.
* Rotas cover 24-hour service, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in night cover.
* Use technology to update support plans, complete online learning, and collaborate with colleagues.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required and paid for by us.
