We have an exciting new opportunity to join our new distribution centre in Ellesmere Port as a Transport Team Manager.
This will be working a rotational shift Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm/ 2pm - 10pm.
You will be operating in line with company values to provide excellent customer service to our retail teams and drivers, whilst working collaboratively with DC loading teams and meeting all legal requirements.
The key accountabilities for the role are as follows:
* Conduct driver pre-shift briefings (despatching drivers) and de-briefs.
* General day-to-day management of drivers.
* Data entry for R2C, as well as completing scanning/grading reports.
* Conduct return to work meetings, 4/8/12 week reviews, and conduct/absence investigations.
* Provide customer service to the retail teams when needed.
* Liaise with DC teams and complete near-miss reporting.
* Provide support to the Transport Shift Manager where required.
What we are looking for:
* Knowledge of health and safety control and data management.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Computer literate with good numerical skills.
* Ability to engage with colleagues.
