Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, play activities, and rest periods.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress.
* Lead activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
* Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.
Skills
* Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications.
* Leadership skills to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English for engaging with children and parents alike.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Ability to drive initiatives that support children's learning and development.
* A nurturing attitude combined with patience and enthusiasm for working with young children.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
What we need from you?
* Recent childcare experience within a setting
* Full time ability to work shifts between 7-6pm - TERM TIME ONLY
* Commitment to continual development
* MUST have a full & relevant level 3 in childcare
Desirable
* Pediatric first aid
* Safeguarding
-Ofsted inspection experience
