KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Salary: Grade 2, SCP 3 (£24,027 per annum) Actual salary £5,553 per annum approx. depending on years of service
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Term Time only (38 pupil weeks, plus 3 days when students are not in school).
Monday to Friday, 10 hrs per week, 12 noon – 2.00 pm
Start Date: September 2025
Ridgeway Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. Our school is committed to providing an excellent catering service. We are a successful school serving over 200 lunches each day. We also provide teas for the after school club and lunches for the onsite nursery.
We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to support our very busy kitchen with the serving and clearing away of school meals.
The position is term time only with 3 additional days to be worked on school INSET days.
The successful candidate will:
* perform all duties set by the CMC
* have effective communication skills with an emphasis on customer care
* have the ability to work as part of a team.
