We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create innovative dishes that align with our restaurant's vision. The Chef will be responsible for planning menus with the other chefs, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. You will work closely with the other two chefs in a calm welcoming environment. We will be introducing a theme night every three months where you can put your ideas to good use. You will be planning the menu to suit the seasons and events.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of dishes in line with the restaurant's standards.
* Develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
* Stay updated on culinary trends and implement innovative techniques.
Work Environment & Schedule
* Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Fast-paced kitchen environment with standing for long periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
