An excellent opportunity has arisen for two -month Casework Support Officers positions. This new role within the Housing Options and Homelessness service provides an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a fast-paced and engaging housing service.
The Casework Support Officer will provide excellent customer care, including telephone, face-to-face and web-based communication, alongside proactive support to colleagues and management to help with a range of tasks within our homelessness casework and management of housing applications (West Cheshire Homes).

You will work within a busy and fast-paced service, providing a quality comprehensive and pro-active housing advice and homelessness assessment service for all customers in order to prevent or relieve homelessness. The role will be varied and will require a person who can easily learn processes and retain information.
You will have experience and competency in managing a busy workload and/or working in a multi-disciplinary service and will be highly proficient at using IT systems to input and manage customer information. The role will require a high level of oral and written skills, and knowledge of housing / homelessness policies, statutory responsibilities and general information on housing options. Excellent communication skills will be essential.
