A leading engineering consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Principal Associate (Mechanical Engineering) to join their established team. This is a senior appointment, offering an office‑based role with regular site inspections, ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer looking to operate at associate level with strong client exposure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and review mechanical design work across a range of projects
* Act as a senior technical authority and point of reference
* Attend and carry out on-site inspections and surveys
* Represent the business in client meetings and project discussions
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
About You
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Extensive experience in mechanical design
* Comfortable in a client‑facing, senior‑level role
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Full UK driving licence essential
