Vehicle MET Technician
Salary: £57,200 per annum (£22 per hour). Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings depending on business needs.
Halo ARC Harrow is part of the UK’s leading accident repair group, Halo, which has 38 centres across the country.
You will be responsible for carefully restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring top-quality results that align with insurers’ high standards.
This role will include, but is not limited to:
* Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
* Replace mechanical parts in vehicles.
* Strip and refit all components of a vehicle.
* Use correct repair methods for EV and ADAS vehicles.
* Self‑assess completed tasks to ensure proper fitment and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
* Check all tools to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience as an MET technician in an automotive repair environment.
* In-depth knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
* Strong understanding of ADAS systems.
* Knowledgeable in hybrid and electric vehicles.
* Attentive and meticulous when handling mechanical and electrical repairs.
* Capable of completing tasks from start to finish within set timeframes and to a high standard.
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
