Job Title: Purchasing and Project Support Coordinator
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience - £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
People Solutions is working with an engineering business in Wednesbury that is looking to expand its team with a Purchasing and Project Support Coordinator. This role offers great prospects within a supportive company environment.

Day-to-Day Duties:
* Read, interpret, and analyze bespoke engineering drawings to identify and source components
* Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
* Liaise with suppliers for quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality and delivery standards
* Create and maintain project plans using Microsoft Project
* Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of quality documents and certifications
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective communication across teams
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing potential delays proactively
* Maintain accurate records of purchasing and project support activities, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
* Read and analyze complex engineering drawings confidently
* Understand quality documentation within an engineering context
* Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, or project support in engineering or manufacturing
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
* Experience in bespoke manufacturing or project-based environments
* Knowledge of ISO quality standards
