Duties- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs- Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences- Monitor children's behaviour and ensure their well-being at all times- Collaborate with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all childrenRequirements- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting- Knowledge of child development principles and practices- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children- Ability to work well in a team environment- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)- High school diploma or equivalent educationNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
