A vacancy has become available for a Service & Warranty Manager.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations and warranty management, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and effective resolute of return issues.
Your duties may include:
- Leading the service and warranty team to ensure returned products are re-worked in a timely manner, and warranty claims are processed smoothly- Overseeing the re-working technicians responsible for the refurbishment and fault diagnosis of the returned items
- Liaising with different stakeholders & team across the business, predominately Quality and Engineering to prevent recurrent issues
- Providing technical support via telephone, email and site visits when required
- Developing and maintaining warranty policies and procedures
This position would suit candidates who:
- Have 5 or more yeas experience working within a technical service or warranty management position (advantageous if this is within manufacturing or engineering)
- Possess a strong understanding and/ or interest in mechanics and electrical systems- Able to read and understand technical/ engineering drawings
- Be a strong problem solver
- Some experience of working with soldering and fault finding equipment
This is an exciting and varied position within a leading employer in the Redditch area.
Salary - DOE Up to £38,000 per annumHours of work: 0730 - 1630 Mon-Thurs/ 0730 - 1330 Fridays
