This business is made up of innovators, passionately charged to positively rectify & reverse the impacts of climate change, through atmospheric carbon removal. As the business gains momentum scaling, they seek a brand new, technically astute process lead to drive their expansion further. Seeking expertise & experience within bulk industries, aggregates, lime and/or other associated.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading design and development projects focused on industrial-scale carbon capture.
2. Optimizing existing engineering & business processes with innovative solutions.
3. Spearheading research initiatives aligned with emission reduction targets.
4. Proactively engage in process optimization tasks with creativity and technical expertise.
5. Use of process simulation software to identify robust methods
6. Internal & external stakeholder management; technical specialists, external partners & project delivery teams.
7. Data collection in support of modifications & improvements.
8. Identification of future engineering projects, new technologies & champion ongoing improvements as the business continues growing.
Requirements:
9. Demonstrated experience & track record from aggregates or bulk materials industry.
10. Relevant University degree (or equivalent).
11. Experience working in process management / engineering.
12. Collaborative & inquisitive in nature.
13. Passionate about technology & decarbonisation.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of the associated infrastructure & projects are overseas, so some marginal International Travel will be required for a short period of this appointment.
