Overview
Quality Assurance Manager role for a food manufacturing operation. You’ll take full ownership of quality across the site—from raw material intake to final product leaving the building with a certificate of analysis. This is hands-on, quality leadership, managing the QA team and laboratories, ensuring compliance, and staying ahead of auditors and customer concerns.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a small-but-capable QA team
* Own HACCP, BRC, and retailer audits
* Create practical sampling plans
* Manage deviations and corrective actions
* Ensure quality systems and lab records are accurate and compliant
* Influence production teams with clear, constructive leadership
You’ll be proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues, documenting them, and preventing escalation.
What we’re looking for
* Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
* Experience in a food manufacturing QA or technical role
* Strong understanding of BRC and retailer CoPs
* Confident, credible communicator with attention to detail
* Detail-oriented with a calm, professional demeanor
Salary
