Resort Housekeeping Manager
St Ives, Cornwall
£37,150 per year | Full-Time | Permanent
A leading coastal resort in St Ives is seeking an experienced Resort Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations across its 83-bedroom hotel and 50+ self-catering properties set within 72 acres.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a team of approximately 30 staff, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, outstanding guest satisfaction, and smooth day-to-day departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all housekeeping operations
2. Recruit, train, schedule and develop the housekeeping team
3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and health & safety compliance
4. Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence
5. Monitor departmental costs and performance
What We’re Looking For:
6. Proven hotel or resort housekeeping management experience
7. Strong leadership and team management skills
8. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
9. Flexible to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and Bank Holidays
