About the Role:
We are seeking aDeputy Managertosupportthe Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our 2-bedded children’s home in Enfield.This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role where you will help shape a nurturing, safe, and empowering environment for vulnerable children and young people.
As Deputy Manager, you will:
* Supportthe Registered Manager in the operational oversight of the home.
* Deliver therapeutic,child-centred care in accordance with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
* Promote a positive, nurturing, andemotionallywarmenvironment for both young people and staff.
* Provide direct supervision andsupportto residential staff, promoting reflective practice and professional development.
* Assist in the creation and implementation of individualised care plans and risk assessments.
* Help ensure robust safeguarding practices and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
* Supportwith staff rotas, shift planning, and on-call responsibilities.
* Act as the senior person on shift in the absence of the Registered Manager.
* Contribute to multi-agency working to achieve positive outcomes for children.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking forcompassionate, motivated, and reliable leaderswho arecommittedto making a lasting difference. You’ll be someone who is:
* Emotionallyintelligent and passionate about children’s wellbeing.
* Resilient andconfidentin dealing with complex andsensitivesituations.
* A strong team player who models consistency and care.
* Focused on safeguarding, safety, and compliance.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) working directly with children/young people—ideally from complex environments.
* At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a residential childcare setting.
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) –Level 5 Diploma(or willingness to work toward) desirable.
* Full UK Driving Licence and use of vehicle for business purposes.
