We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable security/caretaker to join the current team within the Facilities Department.
The ideal candidate will have experience and vocational competence in a security or similar role, possess a front-line SIA qualification, and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include handling a wide range of security issues and reporting them in accordance with established procedures.
The candidate must hold a valid full UK driving licence for manual transmission vehicles, be able to manually handle large items, and respond efficiently to urgent security and caretaking matters.
The successful applicant will be required to meet safeguarding targets once trained and contribute positively to the continuous improvement of quality and service standards across the College. A flexible approach to working hours is essential, as additional hours and overtime may be required to cover annual leave.
