This is a fantastic opportunity for a general practice Accounts & Tax Manager to join a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Bromley. The firm is looking to appoint a Manager or Senior Manager as part of a clear and well planned growth strategy, with genuine potential to progress to Director / Partner in the future. As part of the role, you will work closely with the Partners and take ownership of your own client portfolio, while also managing a small team. The work is focused on general practice accounts and tax services for a varied client base including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. The majority of clients are owner managed businesses with turnovers below £10m, although there will also be exposure to larger and more complex businesses.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing your own portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements, corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Building strong working relationships across the team
* Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and maintaining regular client contact
* Ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time
* Working closely with the Partners to support the smooth running and future growth of the practice
* Opportunity to get involved in business development and marketing activities
This role would suit an ambitious Manager or Senior Manager looking for long term progression within a forward thinking and supportive firm.
Requirements
* Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.
* 5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience.
* Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
* Experience of QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
Benefits
* £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
