Contract: Full Time, February start
Salary: £168 – £232 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and accessible Humanities lessons, primarily for KS3 students.
* Teach a small amount of KS4, focusing on entry-level and functional skills.
* Implement strong behaviour management strategies to create a structured learning environment.
* Adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs, ensuring all students can succeed.
* Work closely with support staff and specialists to tailor learning experiences for individual students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and discussion.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with SEMH, autism, or additional learning needs.
* A resilient and adaptable approach to teaching, ensuring students receive the support they need.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with support staff, specialists, and families.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to accommodate varying learning styles and needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being and academic progress.
