Your Role
We are seeking forward‑thinking, innovative, and inquisitive graduates to join our High Integrity Software Engineering Team. Our software team works on some of the UK’s most exciting software engineering projects, demanding the very highest level of engineering excellence.
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects in the Aerospace, Defence, Rail, Automotive, and Energy sectors. You will help develop software for safety‑related and critical applications, often supporting critical national infrastructure. Our industry‑award‑winning projects make step changes in operational efficiency and safety and are highly respected by our customers.
You will join a diverse team of excellent and experienced engineers committed to ensuring our projects meet our customers’ high expectations. Projects range from single‑person consultancy roles to large‑scale, multi‑million‑pound in‑house software development projects – and everything in between.
You will receive tailor‑made software‑engineering training to suit your background, with opportunities to gain experience across the software development life‑cycle by rotating through multiple roles on multiple projects. On‑the‑job training will cover requirements engineering, systems design and decomposition, architectural design, coding, verification, and validation.
At Capgemini we provide robust support, including a personal line manager/coach, workshops presented by resident experts, a wide array of courses, and regular forums to share experience and ideas across the business.
Successful Applicants’ Opportunities Could Include

Your Profile
Graduates applying for these roles should have strong communication skills, be able to work within teams of varying sizes, and share enthusiasm for innovation. A key attribute is an understanding of the importance of Software Engineering as an engineering discipline.
Education
* A first‑class or 2:1 degree
* Post‑graduate qualifications are welcomed
