What you’ll do
The Stores and Supply Chain Solution Delivery organisation delivers the core infrastructure & software systems to TJX's stores and PCs that acquire, move, and sell products in local markets throughout the globe.
As a Product Owner in the EU Stores team you will join a dynamic team working on a wide variety of initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for defining the team’s product backlog of user stories including backlog prioritisation, refinement, and creation of acceptance criteria along with agreed upon definition of done. You will have knowledge of SAFe principles, Kanban, and Scrum including embracing agile principles and applying a lean agile mindset.
As a Product Owner, you will have critical thinking skills. You will also aim to have a Product/Domain knowledge in at least one area that guides, informs, and provides insight on what product enhancements, maintenance, and efficiencies are needed.
The Product Owner ensures the team commitments are achievable, the business requirements are met, and the team is performing optimally. This role has wide-ranging partnerships, working day-to-day with scrum masters, product managers, epic owners, business stakeholders and close collaboration with other IT teams. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will challenge you to think creatively and work seamlessly in a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities
* Strong experience of Agile Product Ownership, strategy or requirements development role
* Experienced Product Owner with expertise in translating user needs to user-stories that the team can develop into finished deliverables. Clearly define vision and scope with acceptance criteria
* Demonstrates leadership, negotiation, presentation and communication skills
* Solid understanding of agile methodology, techniques, frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) and agile tools (such as Jira and Confluence). Actively participates in Release Train Ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demo, ART Sync, and Inspect & Adapt meetings
* Collaborates with various IT teams to drive for results.
* Ability to manage dependencies and shifting priorities
Preferred qualifications
* Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred.
* Familiarity with the retail industry & best practices
* Knowledge and experience with Stores applications (such as Point of Sale, Payments, Office 365)
* Experience working with vendors and 3rd party solutions
* Experience with cloud solution implementations
* Experience working in a retail environment is highly desirable
