The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will take the lead in driving new business across the East and West Midlands, with a core focus on apprenticeships. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role where you will identify opportunities, engage employers, and convert leads into lasting partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively generating new business opportunities and expanding the employer network
* Building, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients across multiple sectors
* Promoting apprenticeship programmes and tailoring solutions to align with employer needs
* Managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract closure
* Collaborating with internal delivery teams to ensure a high-quality client journey
* Staying informed on market trends, funding changes, and developments within the apprenticeships sector

Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in apprenticeships and a consistent track record of winning new business.
