Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of systems. This role requires a proactive, hands-on individual who can work independently and as part of a team to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely, while maintaining accurate records for ISO 9001 purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular maintenance checks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
* Perform welding tasks where required for repairs and modifications.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and supporting production efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed for ISO 9001 compliance.
* Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational standards.
* Supervise junior maintenance staff when required, providing guidance and leadership.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures at all times.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
