Job Title: Nursery Nurse Room Leader Location: Birmingham (B9) Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Room Leader to join an early years setting in Birmingham (B9) starting in September 2025. About the Role: As Nursery Nurse Room Leader, you will take responsibility for leading a nursery room, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality care and education for the children. You will play a vital role in planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum that supports children’s development and well-being in a nurturing environment. Room Leader Responsibilities: Lead and manage the daily operation of your designated nursery room Plan, organise, and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences Support and mentor nursery staff, fostering a positive team culture and continuous professional development Ensure all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed rigorously Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs Collaborate closely with senior leadership and SENDCo to implement personalised learning plans where required Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and well-being Requirements: Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification desirable Previous experience in a nursery setting desirable, particularly in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of early years learning and development frameworks Excellent communication and team management skills Passionate about working with young children and supporting their individual needs What We Offer: Salary between £14.00 and £16.00 per hour, dependent on experience An opportunity to lead and develop a vibrant nursery room within a supportive early years environment A collaborative and welcoming working environment Professional development opportunities Start date in September 2025 If you are a motivated and compassionate Nursery Nurse Room Leader looking to make a difference in children’s lives, we would love to hear from you.
