Future Build have been approached by a long standing client to support them in the search for a HR Advisor to join on a permanent basis. Based in Harrow, our client is a medium sized construction company specialising in new build and refurbishment projects across a variety of different sectors, established 40 years ago.
Brief responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Selection:
* Advising managers on recruitment strategies, including job descriptions, advertising, and selection processes.
* Participating in interviews and making hiring decisions.
* Managing the onboarding process for new hires.
* Employee Relations:
* Addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
* Providing advice on performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
* Ensuring fair and consistent treatment of employees.
* HR Policies and Procedures:
* Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
* Communicating HR policies and procedures to employees.
* Employee Development:
* Identifying training and development needs.
* Designing and implementing training programs.
* Providing coaching and mentoring to employees.
* Performance Management:
* Developing and implementing performance management systems.
* Conducting performance appraisals and providing feedback to employees.
In order to qualify for this position you must have prior experience working in the construction sector and be educated to CIPD or NVQ level.
