Fitch Learning is seeking a Client Relationship Manager based in our London office. We are looking for candidates with proven experience selling to clients in emerging markets and managing complex client relationships. The corporate title for this role is Associate Director.

About the Team:

The purpose of this role is to manage an existing, defined portfolio of strategic client accounts across Africa (including South Africa) and grow these through building strong, trust-based relationships with client contacts at multiple levels. You will work with clients to understand their needs and, with our subject-matter experts, design solutions to address these needs. In doing so, you will achieve or exceed an agreed revenue target. In addition, you will prospect and develop new logo opportunities across key African markets. The role requires periodic travel across Africa; frequency will depend on business needs and client coverage.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

1. Own and grow a portfolio of African client accounts (including South Africa) through strategic account planning, relationship development, and internal referrals
2. Understand the regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and operating environments across African financial services to shape value-adding learning and development solutions
3. Drive full-cycle sales excellence: qualify opportunities, shape solutions, develop compelling proposals, and deliver persuasive pitches and negotiations
4. Maintain accurate pipeline, activities, and account plans in Salesforce; manage data rigorously
5. Produce clear, defensible revenue forecasts built from pipeline analysis
6. Transition won projects to delivery teams while retaining commercial oversight and escalation point responsibilities

8. You have experience selling into emerging markets and/or opening new markets
9. You have experience selling to Financial Services and/or selling learning solutions
10. You have a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
11. You can translate client strategies into actionable account plans
12. You have excellent communication skills and a consultative selling approach

13. Demonstrated sales success across African markets (including South Africa), with direct experience selling to clients in emerging markets
14. Knowledge of African financial services sectors and key buyer personas (, banks, insurers, regulators, DFIs, large corporates)
15. Ability to operate across multiple countries, navigate cross-cultural stakeholders, and manage travel across the region
