Are you currently working as a wood machinist, machine operator, cnc machine operator, carpenter, shop fitter, woodwork apprentice, construction, roofer, joiner, fencing or other similar practical role?
Our job at Tuplin involves:-
* Using automatic saws to cut softwood and plywood ready for case manufacturing
* Following information from cutting sheets to programme saws (training given)
* Ensuring the correct stock of wood products are in the warehouse saws area ready for use.
* Assisting with timber stock checks
* In time, assisting with case manufacturing using power saws, nail guns, drills and other hand tools
* Forklift (experience preferred but training available)
* working to high standards of productivity, quality and health & safety
* a physical job involving heavy lifting and handling of timber and plywood
Salary is according to skills and experience. Paid overtime is available at busy times.
