Infrastructure Security Engineer (Contract) - Hybrid/ Remote Were looking for a hands-on Security/ Infrastructure Engineer with a strong security mindset to join a lean IT team in a hybrid cloud environment (Azure, M365, on-prem AD). This is a 60% infrastructure / 30% security role - youll be responsible for maintaining core systems while also investigating and responding to security alerts (Darktrace / SOC tools). ?? What Youll Be Doing Manage and support Azure, M365, VMware & on-prem AD environments Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents Support day-to-day infrastructure operations across a hybrid setup Work closely with internal teams to maintain and improve systems & security ?? What Youll Bring Strong experience in infrastructure / systems engineering Good understanding of networking, Microsoft stack & hybrid environments Experience investigating security alerts / incidents (SOC tools, Darktrace etc.) Ability to work independently and take ownership ?? The Details ?? £300 - £350 per day ?? Hybrid (1-2 days onsite) ?? Initial 3 months (Highly likely extension)
