Science Graduates Wanted – PRU Teaching Assistant Roles | Immediate Start
Are you a recent Science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? We are recruiting for Teaching Assistant roles in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), offering a unique opportunity to support students with additional needs and challenging behaviours in a highly rewarding environment.
About the Role:
1. Full-time position, starting immediately
2. Supporting students aged 11-16 in a PRU setting
3. Assisting with science lessons and cross-curricular activities
4. Providing academic and emotional support to pupils with SEMH needs
5. Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
6. A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
7. A genuine interest in education and supporting vulnerable young people
8. Strong communication and resilience
9. Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
10. A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
