This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition, compliance, and efficiency within our payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading a Workday implementation for UK payroll, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Implementation: Drive the successful migration of UK payroll processes into Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Training & Support: Deliver training to payroll teams on Workday processes, including EIB load, audit reporting, and payroll processing steps. Process Documentation: Create clear, comprehensive documentation for payroll procedures and workflows. System Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements to streamline payroll operations. Testing & Validation: Conduct End to End (“E2E”) testing, parallel run processing and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and functionality. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align payroll processes with organizational goals. Post Go Live: Provide go live processing support and refinement of process documentation. Basic Qualifications proven experience in Workday UK Payroll implementation. understanding of Workday related modules, including HCM, Absence, and Benefits. hands-on experience with Workday UK day-to-day payroll processing, EIB loads, audit reports, settlement processes (using third party provider) strong knowledge of UK payroll processing, legislation and HMRC requirements (e.g. tax, earnings, deductions, time off). ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. excellent written and verbal communication skills in English excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail proficiency in Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Experience with international payroll integration. Project management or change management experience.
