About you
You’ll come from a live events or experiential agency background, with proven experience delivering complex, in-person, brand activations, large-scale conferences, exhibitions or multi-event programmes.
You’ll be a confident leader, experienced in managing and developing a team of Project Managers and Co-ordinators to deliver events on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
About the role
As Head of Client Projects, you’ll lead our Client Services team, ensuring seamless delivery of a busy events programme, while also retaining hands-on responsibility for key client projects.
Reporting directly to the Client Services Director and working closely with the Head of Operations & Logistics, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our internal teams collaborate effectively to deliver the exceptional events MSL Global is known for.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the Client Project team, setting clear standards, expectations and ways of working
* Take overall accountability for the planning, execution and delivery of client programmes and events
* Act as a senior escalation point for delivery challenges or client issues
* Ensure project governance, risk management, approvals and client sign-off are consistently applied
* Oversee project budgets, forecasting and reconciliation, ensuring financial control and efficiency
* Track and report on project KPIs, timelines, budgets and resource utilisation
* Drive continuous improvement through structured debriefs and delivery reviews
Key experience:
* Senior-level project management experience within an agency, events or client services environment
* Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence influencing senior clients and internal teams
* Demonstrable ownership of budgets, forecasting and commercial delivery
* Strong project management skills, including planning, coordination, risk management and issue resolution
* Confidence using project management tools and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Experience in experiential marketing, live events, exhibitions or large-scale, live (in-person) conferences
* Experience working closely with operations, logistics or production teams
* Project management qualifications (PRINCE2, APM or similar)
* Exposure to automotive or complex, multi-market client programmes
Practical details
* Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
* This an office-based role, with the ability to commute to Alton / Bordon, Hampshire required
* Full driving licence required
* Flexibility to support live events, including occasional evenings and weekends
