Overview
Teaching Assistant role at Manor House School, part of Acorn Education, within Outcomes First Group. 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial available after probation, with full-time pay. 80% of contractual hours for 100% of pay, subject to staffing and probation conditions.
Salary: Up to £25,029 per annum. Location: Manor House School, Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 0QX. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Contract: Permanent, Term Time only. SEN experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities
* To work under the direct instruction of an assigned teacher, supporting access to learning for students and providing general classroom support.
* Assist with day-to-day administration and organisation of the school as required.
* Prepare the classroom and learning areas for lessons and clear up afterwards; assist with the display of pupils’ work.
* Monitor individual pupil progress and report concerns to the teacher; undertake pupil record keeping as requested.
* Support learning activities, safeguarding, and the welfare of pupils and young people.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* GCSE C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
* Willingness to undertake training
* Good literacy and numeracy
* Understanding/knowledge of Safeguarding
* Understanding/knowledge of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
