We are currently recruiting a full-time Operations Manager (maternity cover)
12 month temporary contract with potential to be permanent.

We are recruiting for a passionate, hardworking and motivated person to fill our team supporting the day to day running of able2achieve, as an Operations Manager. If you can travel to all our service areas at any time, be part of an on call system, are flexible, wanting to increase your knowledge and looking to upskill and develop, this is the role for you.

You will be expected to proficiently use and learn IT systems to ensure up to date accurate information has been recorded, an analytical mindset is a must.
As an Operations Manager, flexibility in working hours is needed, based at 9-5 but not exclusive to these times and weekend work may be required. Being part of an on call Rota, means access to a vehicle is essential.
About the role - In addition:
This is a diverse and exciting role, some of your responsibilities will include:
Support with the smooth operation of the service, including Rota management, reviewing, updating support plans and assisting with the recruitment and development of your team.
Administrations inputting.
Work with relatives, healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure that the needs and interests of the people we support are met and upheld.
Serve as a role model to a team of Support Workers, demonstrating excellent practices and sharing skills.
To lead, coach and mentor the team of support workers. Including supporting the induction programme, championing an area ( full support will be given here)
On call support on a Rota basis.
Ensuring learners needs are always met.
Being passionate in working within a2a's values and mission statement.
Being CQC compliant,
The person we are looking for is:
· Highly analytical, proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel skills
· Good time management and organizational skills
· A good communicator who can initiate and build strong relationships with your team.
· Proactive and a team player with a 'can-do' attitude with a passion for growth
· 1-2 years in similar role experience preferred but not essential
What will I need?
To be considered as an Operations Manager you will need:
Previous management experience - full induction, training and support will be given.
Full driving License,
Experience of working with people with a wide range of needs - for example, autism and complex health and learning disabilities
The ability to prioritise workload, manage your own time, delegate tasks and meet deadlines.
The personality to develop positive working relationships across able2achieve - including the people we support, their families, internal colleagues, and external agencies.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, practice and provision.
Have or be willing to work towards a Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management for Care Services.
