Project Director – High Rise Residential (Bristol)
Salary: £100,000 – £130,000 + Benefits.
Role Overview
Construo Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead a landmark high‑rise residential apartment development in the heart of Bristol. This flagship project requires a senior leader with a proven track record delivering large‑scale residential schemes with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of a major high‑rise residential scheme
* Provide strategic leadership to project, commercial and technical teams
* Ensure robust programme, cost, quality and safety management
* Oversee design coordination and technical compliance
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain
* Champion a positive site culture and high‑performance environment
* Lead reporting, risk management, and project governance activities
About You
* Proven experience as a Project Director with a main contractor
* A strong track record in delivering high‑rise residential apartment projects
* Leadership of major projects – £40m+ preferred
* Excellent communication, negotiation and team‑building skills
* Strong commercial and contractual understanding
* Ability to manage complex technical, logistical and stakeholder challenges
