TPF Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading accountancy firm based in Horsham in their search for an Assistant Manager to join their Private Client Tax team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to manage a varied portfolio of clients while supporting and developing junior team members. The firm is open to considering this position on either a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 3 days per week), and would also welcome applications from those interested in working on a self-employed basis.
As an Assistant Manager within the Private Client Tax team, you will:
* Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including:
* Directors and shareholders
* Sole traders and partnerships
* Individuals with complex investments, including EIS and SEIS portfolios
* Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services directly to clients.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery.
* Support and mentor junior members of the team, helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated client solutions
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate:
* ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Strong technical expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
* Previous experience managing a client portfolio within practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
