Upholsterer – Returns Department (Furniture)
We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join our Returns Department team. This role is essential in ensuring returned furniture is assessed, repaired, and restored to the highest standard before resale or redistribution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect returned furniture to identify issues with upholstery, structure, or finish.
* Carry out re-upholstery, fabric repairs, and adjustments as required.
* Work with a variety of materials including fabric, leather, and padding.
* Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards.
* Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient workflow.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in upholstery or furniture repair (essential).
* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Ability to work with hand tools, sewing machines, and other upholstery equipment.
* Good problem-solving skills to assess and repair different types of returns.
* Team player with good communication skills.
