Accounts Assistant- Lisburn Reed Accountancy & Finance are working with a successful business located in Lisburn and are delighted to be recruiting for an additional member of staff to join their finance team. The company is well-established and successful, and the job offers stability and the opportunity to work as part of a small but busy team environment. Reporting to the Company Accountant and working as part of a team of three, the Accounts Assistant will have an important role maintaining the weekly payroll, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and general finance duties. The software used is Sage 200. Further duties will include: Weekly payroll processing for 40 employees Submission of company pension contributions Posting wages to sage Purchase ledger invoice processing Supplier statement reconciliations VAT returns Cash flow management General office duties Ad hoc duties as required The ideal person will meet the following criteria: Experience in using Sage 200 or Sage Line 50 software Experience in using Protean Software desirable but not essential Experience in payroll processing and accounts payable Excellent telephone manner Excellent written communication skills Organised and punctual Attention to detail Benefits Full-time permanent role A salary of £29,000- £32,000 per annum dependent on experience Company pension Onsite carparking 28 days holidays plus statutory holidays Christmas closure The opportunity to work within a supportive team offering staff longevity If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply via the link provided.
