About the role:
LexisNexis UK is looking for a talented Full Stack .NET Software Engineer to work ona building productsforour leading Research and GuidancePlatform.Thisrole will help modernize our existing products as well as work on our new products.This role will also contribute to the development of AI-enabled capabilities within our Research and Guidance Platform, including features powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Responsibilities:
* Develop a good understanding of thecompany'sproducts anditstechnicalstack.
* Proactively usetest and deployment automation to assure quality of delivered software.
* Engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure we continue to develop features of value for customers andbusiness.
* Driveand advocatecontinuous professional development throughout the team.
* Drive to achievea high levelof competency and ability across a varied technical toolset,in accordance withthe systems in use.
* Contribute to the team usingthe correct code quality and performancemetrics.
* Adapt to demands quickly, fixing bugs or looking at pipeline issues.
Requirements:
* Recent proven experience inC#, .NET.
* Experience developing web applications or services (e.g. Web API, ASP.NET MVC,etc.).
* Experience with front-end web technologies, especially JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React, in recent work history.
* Demonstratable experience with automated testing.
* Experience withGit or other source code managementtools.
* A demonstrated curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI-assisted software development, with examples of applying these tools or techniques in practice.
* Knowledge of software build and deployment processes, such as a CI/CD tool, Infrastructure as Code, orpackaging,would be an advantage.
