Working Hours:
1. Monday – Thursday: 15:15 – 17:00
2. Friday: 14:45 – 16:30
Salary:
3. PAYE: £12.65 per hour
4. Umbrella: £16.55 per hour
Are you a reliable and hardworking Cleaner looking for a part-time role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to provide short-term maternity leave cover.
What You’ll Do:
5. Carry out general cleaning duties across the school building, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
6. Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in line with health and safety standards.
7. Safely use and store cleaning equipment and materials.
8. Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional working environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
9. Previous experience in cleaning (school or commercial environments desirable but not essential).
10. Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials.
11. A clean and tidy appearance and a strong work ethic.
12. Basic experience operating cleaning equipment (training can be provided).
13. Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Essential Requirements:
14. Enhanced DBS check (required before starting) - must subscribe to the DBS update service.
15. Eligibility to work in the UK.
16. CV and photo ID.
17. 2 years of references/work history.
18. Availability to work only during the advertised hours.
