Homeless Warden Location: Edinburgh Job Type: Full-time shift pattern can be provided Salary: £14.02p/h - £21.65p/h About the Role We are currently recruiting Homeless Wardens to support vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness within supported accommodation in Edinburgh. This is a rewarding role for compassionate, resilient individuals who want to make a genuine difference to peoples lives while working within established health and social care services. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to individuals experiencing homelessness Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment Carry out regular welfare checks and health & safety monitoring Support residents with daily living skills, routines, and resettlement goals De-escalate challenging behaviour and manage incidents professionally Accurately record observations and report concerns to senior staff Work collaboratively with housing officers, healthcare professionals, and support services Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies at all times Essential Requirements Previous experience working with vulnerable adults (homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, or similar) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Basic IT skills for report writing and record keeping Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends How to Apply If this role sounds like the perfect fit for you, please click "Apply".
